GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

  1. Joining Fee:
    1. A Joining fee of £25 will be charged if you do not sign up within 48 hours of your free trial.
  1. Minimum Membership Term:
    1. The minimum membership term is three full calendar months. With a rolling monthly membership after this period.
    2. Cancellation before the end of the minimum (three month) membership period, is by prior agreement via email to info@outdoormilitaryfitness.co.uk where OMF may grant early cancellation on payment of a £50 fee.
    3. In case of injury, early cancellation without penalty may be permitted on production of a suitable medical certificate.
    4. Under the Direct Debit Guarantee, you are entitled to cancel a direct debit at any time. Please note that if you do this within the minimum membership period (first three months), without making alternative arrangements for payment, we will pass this information onto a collection agency.
  1. Cancellation and Freezing
    1. Once the minimum membership term period is up, you may cancel your membership at any time via email to info@outdoormilitaryfitness.co.uk, giving five working days’ written notice before the end of the calendar month.
    2. On completion of the minimum membership period, you may freeze your membership for periods of one month or more without penalty. Please notify us five working days before your collection date from when you want the suspension to start.
    3. If joining Online you have the right to cancel this agreement with a fourteen day cooling off period without giving any reason. To exercise the right to cancel please refer to term 3.1
    4. Any request is taken from the date we receive notice. We strongly advise when giving notice by post you send by recorded delivery. OMF will not be held responsible for any correspondence not received.
  1. Payment Terms:
    1. If your first collection date is NOT within five working days then you will be charged £1 a day (£5 per week for ‘Once a week’ membership) until your first monthly collection date.  This payment will be collected five working days after you’ve signed up.
    2. If you have not signed up with 48hrs of your free trial, then you will also be charged a joining fee.
    3. Membership payments are collected by direct debit on the first or fifteenth working day of each month.
    4. Payments that are refused by the bank on the grounds of insufficient funds will be recalled within seven days, unless an alternative arrangement is made.
  1. Refund Policy:
    1. Membership refunds are not given, other than case of error on our part.
    2. If you are injured and unable to train, please contact us immediately. We will be able to put your membership on hold, and credit you with unused paid membership time on your return. Please note that under no circumstances will such arrangements be backdated.
  1. Training Conditions:
    1. You may train at any OMF parks as long as your membership payment is up to date.
  1. Minimum age:
    1. Members must be 16 years or older.

PAY AS YOU TRAIN

  1. Payment Terms:
    1. Agree to pay £7 per session via debit or credit card on arrival prior to the session.
  2. Training Conditions:
    1. You may train at any OMF parks as long as your payment is approved.
  3. Minimum age:
    1. Members must be 16 years or older.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to review and amendment by OMF as and when necessary.

CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Conduct forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Membership at Outdoor Military Fitness North Ltd or Outdoor Military Fitness South Ltd (“OMF”). It is designed to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of members whilst maintaining the highest levels of health and safety for all members, trialists and employees. Failure to abide by this Code may result in the member being asked to leave OMF.

Health and Safety

The use of mobile phones is not permitted whilst attending a class.
No food is to be consumed whilst attending a class.
Alcohol is not permitted whilst attending a class and anyone suspected of being in a state of inebriation will be prevented from taking part in a class and will be asked to leave.
Drinks must be contained in closed plastic vessels and given to an instructor before the class (instructors will provide fresh bottled water for you) – no glass containers allowed.
Bags and belongings to be stored in the instructor van but left at owners own risk.
Members must inform an instructor prior to attending a class of any changes to their health which would result in a change to their responses to the screening questions.
Members must abide by instructions related to health, safety and appropriate conduct issued by the OMF Team and must also follow written health and safety instructions.

Respect for Others

Members must not shout, use foul or abusive language or behave in a threatening or intimidating manner of any description towards any other members, trialists and employees.
Members must encourage and support all other members/trialists at all times.
Members must adhere to all instructions given by the OMF instructors.

Personal Cleanliness and Attire

High standards of personal hygiene must be maintained and members must make every effort to deodorize before attending an OMF class.
Appropriate exercise clothing must be worn when attending the class.
No sandals, jeans, string vests or open toed shoes are to be worn. Bibs provided by OMF must be worn at all times.

Respect for the Facilities and Service

Litter must be placed in the bins provided.
Members and Trialists must respect other users of the parks who may not be taking part in an OMF class.
Members and Trialists must park their vehicles in a safe place within the parking facilities of the location.
All problems, personal disputes or grievances must be addressed to an instructor in the first instance.
This Code of Conduct is subject to review and amendment by OMF as and when necessary.
